Artificial Intelligence and the Law. The Personal Data Protection Office invites you to the third Open Expert Lecture
On 11 September 2026, the third event in the series of Open Expert Lectures organised by the Personal Data Protection Office will take place.
The development of artificial intelligence presents new challenges for the law, particularly in the areas of personal data protection, copyright and the application of new regulations concerning AI. The forthcoming meeting will be devoted to these issues.
The event will be opened by Mirosław Wróblewski, President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
The lecture entitled "Generative models and the European legal framework: between the AI Act, GDPR and copyright" will be led by Ph.D Damian Flisak, legal counsel at Lubasz i Wspólnicy - Law Firm.
A panel discussion will then be held. Participants will include lawyers representing law firms and the academic community.
The event will take place from 10.00 to 12.00 at the Personal Data Protection Office headquarters at 1A Stanisława Moniuszki Street in Warsaw.
