New Newsletter from the Personal Data Protection Office

We are pleased to present a completely new version of the “Personal Data Protection Office Newsletter”. Keeping up with the times, we are moving away from PDF files in favor of a more interactive web portal. This change is driven by security considerations, but also by the convenience of our readers—the new format will make it easier to find specific articles and revisit older content. You can search by date (a specific issue of the Newsletter) or by topic (a selected category).

However, the content of the Newsletter remains unchanged—we continue to focus on substantive, interesting content created by experts. In the May issue, you’ll find the now-traditional summary of the Office’s activities over the past month, as well as a new feature—reports on the activities of the Deputy Presidents of the Personal Data Protection Office in May 2026. From now on, this will be a regular “column” in our Newsletter. However, it’s worth starting with the editorial, where you’ll also find links to other articles in this issue.

“The Personal Data Protection Office Newsletter is an important tool for communicating with the community of people interested in personal data protection. Changing the format of this publication was a major project that was prepared and carried out entirely by the Office’s own staff. I wanted to create a dedicated website to make it easier to access the materials contained therein. The website now includes the full text of all Newsletters published since the beginning of my term as President of the Personal Data Protection Office. I hope this project will be well received and that the Newsletter will continue to evolve as an important source of information on personal data protection,” said Mirosław Wróblewski, President of the Personal Data Protection Office.

From now on, the “Personal Data Protection Office Newsletter” will be available exclusively online. We hope you will enjoy this new format. On the website, you can find all the articles from the archived issues of the Newsletter from 2024–2026.

We hope you enjoy reading this
