The President of the Personal Data Protection Office supports legislative initiatives aimed at regulating the supervision of the use of operational control

The President of the Personal Data Protection Office, Mirosław Wróblewski, took part in today’s joint meeting of parliamentary committees concerning the draft Act amending certain acts in order to strengthen judicial supervision over operational control (Sejm paper no. 2411).

In his remarks, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office emphasised that he supports this legislative initiative aimed at strengthening supervision over the use of operational control and increasing the level of protection of the rights of individuals subjected to such measures. He agreed in principle with the regulations contained in the draft, while considering them insufficient.
