Personal Data in Public Procurement – Personal Data Protection Office Conference
Mirosław Wróblewski, President of the Personal Data Protection Office, and Agnieszka Olszewska, President of the Public Procurement Office, invite everyone to a conference titled “Designing Data Protection in Public Procurement: Challenges in Light of New Technologies.”
The event will take place on April 17, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Polish Data Protection Office headquarters in Warsaw (1A Moniuszki Street).
The conference will focus on key challenges related to the processing of personal data and information protection in the field of public procurement, with particular emphasis on the responsibilities of market participants in the context of new technological developments.
The program includes expert presentations and a panel discussion. The presentations will cover topics such as:
• the application of the GDPR in public procurement,
• the assessment of data processing procedures,
• information security throughout the entire procurement cycle,
• the role of contracting authorities and contractors in ensuring compliance with regulations,
• the use of new technologies in public procurement.
The conference is aimed at representatives of public administration, contracting authorities, contractors, lawyers, data protection officers, and anyone interested in the topic of secure and responsible public procurement.
The event will be held in a hybrid format—the in-person capacity is already full, so we invite you to join us online (the event will be streamed on the Personal Data Protection Office and the Public Procurement Office websites).
We encourage you to attend the event
