Artificial Intelligence and Personal Data Protection – A Seminar by the Social Insurance Institution and the Personal Data Protection Office

The Personal Data Protection Office and the Social Insurance Institution invite you to a seminar titled “Artificial Intelligence: How to Implement It for the Benefit of Your Organisation in Light of Personal Data Protection Regulations.” The event will take place on April 23, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in the Auditorium of the Koszalin University of Technology at 6e Kwiatkowskiego Street. The meeting will be streamed online.

The seminar will provide an opportunity to discuss current trends and future developments in the field of data protection, as well as to explore the future of regulation in light of the growing importance of artificial intelligence.

The event will be divided into two thematic panels. The first panel, titled “AI: An Opportunity for Growth or a Threat to Data Controllers in Light of Personal Data Protection Regulations,” will focus on the role of artificial intelligence as either an opportunity or a threat to data controllers within the context of current regulations. The second panel, titled “How to effectively balance the right to personal data protection with the dynamic development of digital services,” will focus on balancing the right to personal data protection in the context of the dynamic development of digital services.

Speakers will include experts in law, new technologies, and cybersecurity, representing the academic community, the IT industry, and public institutions.

The event will also be attended by representatives of the Personal Data Protection Office, along with members of the Social Team of Experts advising the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, and representatives of the Social Insurance Institution.

Attendance at the event is free of charge. Those interested in attending in person are asked to register in advance using the registration form by April 20, 2026, due to limited seating.
