Personal Data Protection Office supports institutions in the use of artificial intelligence
The President of the Personal Data Protection Office Mirosław Wróblewski expresses gratitude to all participants of the survey on the needs of institutions and organizations in the area of the use of artificial intelligence and ensuring proper level of personal data protection when using this technology. 497 participants took part in the survey. The survey will identify the needs of controllers in the area of the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and expectations related to ensuring proper protection of personal data when using this technology.
We managed to collect a huge amount of material that is already being analysed. Thanks to the answers received and the very high representation of various institutions and organizations in this study, it will be possible to identify doubts and needs helpful in the development of the Personal Data Protection Office’s activities that are to support the responsible, lawful implementation of artificial intelligence tools.
"The fact that the survey was completed by almost 500 entities demonstrates the high market demand for actions aimed at data protection in the context of the use of artificial intelligence technologies and trust in the Personal Data Protection Office. After a thorough analysis of the results, we will be able to steer our efforts to support institutions in those areas where the assistance is most needed. I would like to express my gratitude for the help in preparing the survey and processing the results to the employees of the Personal Data Protection Office involved in the process and the members of the Social Team of Experts to the President of the Personal Data Protection. I would like to thank everyone who took the time to complete the survey," concluded the President of the Personal Data Protection Office Mirosław Wróblewski.
