Meeting of the President of the PL SA with the President of the Supreme Medical Council

On 10 June 2025, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, Mirosław Wróblewski, together with his colleagues, met with the President of the Supreme Medical Council – Łukasz Jankowski. The meeting concerned the safety of doctors against the background of the tragic events that have recently taken place, m.in. on April 29 at the orthopedic clinic of the University Hospital in Krakow.

They also discussed the proposals of the medical self-government in the field of systemic solutions to improve the safety of doctors and avoid similar situations in the future.

"This is another meeting with the Supreme Medical Council, which is an expression of the implementation of the agreement between our institutions. The protection of personal data of medical personnel is closely related to the issue of security. We will support the medical self-government in this regard," said Mirosław Wróblewski during the meeting.
