The Personal Data Protection Office deepens cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Affairs

The President of the Personal Data Protection Office, Mirosław Wróblewski, met with the Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Digital Affairs Krzysztof Gawkowski and the Secretary of State at the Ministry of Digital Affairs Dariusz Standerski. The aim of the meeting was to deepen the cooperation between the Ministry of Digital Affairs and the Personal Data Protection Office in the field of personal data protection.

The subject of the meeting was working cooperation in the field of cybersecurity, including the protection of children against online threats, as well as preparations for the Polish presidency in the European Union. An important topic of legislative work carried out at the European Union level, such as the implementation of the Data Management Act, the drafting of a regulation on cross-border proceedings, or the regulation of artificial intelligence, was also discussed.

- Personal data is increasingly in digital form, which determines the way we think about data protection. I am glad that together with the Ministry of Digital Affairs we can share our experiences and exchange information on current incidents, which will facilitate an effective response to them and prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future," said Mirosław Wróblewski, President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
